About Jessica
Honoring her true inner voice Jessie found herself on a life path through the science of yoga. She completed her teacher training in Hatha yoga and Vinyasa Yoga in 2007 in Toronto Canada. She has continued advanced yoga training in Restorative yoga, Prenatal and yoga for children. She now teaches Hatha, Restorative, Fertility, Prenatal, Postnatal, Yoga for Children and Teens.
Jessie’s personal yoga practice has guided her to many new lights and has become a nurturing part of her life. In 2009 she attended the Inner engineering course with Gomathy Swamy a student of Sadhguru the creator of Isha yoga.
In 2009 Jessie becoming a doula and child birth Metoring, supporting and guiding parents through the various stages of labour, birth and postpartum. Jessie is trained with Birthing From Within and CAPPA Canada Childbirth a Postpartum Professional Association. Jessie volunteers her doula services and yoga teaching to teen parents during labour and birth through a group called doula care. Jessie is a trained Yoga Therapist. She studied at Yoga Vidya Dham university in India. Her goal as a yogi is to increase self healing physically, mentally and spiritually.

Favorite Asana: Yaghrasana (tiger pose)
Benefits: The asana exercises and loosens the back by bending it alternately in both directions and tones the spinal nerves. It relaxes the sciatic nerves, relieving sciatica, and loosens up the legs. It tones the female reproductive organs and is especially beneficial for women after childbirth and those who have given birth to many children. It stretches the abdominal muscles, promotes digestion and stimulates blood circulation.
Favourite Pranayamada: Nadi Shodhana Pranayamada (breathing exercise)
Benefits: Nadi Shodhana ensures that the whole body is nourished by an extra supply of oxygen. Carbon dioxide is efficiently expelled and blood is purified of toxins. It increases vitality and lowers levels of stress and anxiety by harmonising the pranas.
